Five Things...

This morning I was going around, reading the blogs that I subscribe to and came upon a fun little meme...

Five Things People May Not Know About Me:

1. I have a problem with socks. Since I was little, my socks have to be perfect on my feet. If the line is a little off, or if there is too much bunching on one toe, I will take off my shoe and fix it. And I don't like things between my toes...

These socks might be the death of me!

2. I am an avid reader. My mom is a first grade teacher and instilled in me the love of reading. I used to read everywhere, even in the shower...perhaps I took it too far. To punish me, my mom would pack up my books...but not to worry, I would usually stash some in my secret hiding place!

3. I have a tattoo. When I was 20 years old, I had a friend getting a tattoo for his birthday and I went along for the ride. When we got there, the tattoo artist said he could tattoo me as well... Its 3 four leaf clovers. Ask me, I'll show it to ya.
The story is that I love anything having to do with Ireland, so this was a natural choice for me. What would you get?

4. I love to cook. And bake. I just don't get to do it very often. But the times that I have, dang...watch out! This past week I tried my hand at pumpkin cookies. They didn't last two days. My brownies are especially delicious, and my lasagna is unbelievable.

5. I am a control freak. Well, maybe not a freak, but I like things done a certain way. And I know that if I do things, they will be done correctly. But I have had to learn patience in this, and hopefully it is getting better...

~And now a challenge for my readership...Comment on something that most people don't know about you...

I think the movie Gone with the Wind is a comedy....it really is hilarious.

I've cried in less than five movies in my life, which apparently means I am heartless. The first: Life is Beautiful. The hardest: Mr. Kreuger's Christmas (Don't make fun! There's a good reason!).

But I know of your tattoo, your avid reading, and your control freakativity!

Tell me about that time in Nantucket!
