Fantastic Weekend

I don't usually blog about weekends unless I go somewhere, but this weekend was so wonderful, I felt that I had to share with all of you (I think there are about 35 of you now...).

Friday was good because I got to go the movies. I hardly ever go to the movies (no particular reason, I just don't). I went on an invitation from Mary and Wayne, eating dinner at Don Pablo's (excellent chips and salsa!) and seeing Bolt. Darling movie, I laughed through quite a bit of it...

Saturday was great because I got to go to the temple with friends. We had a wonderful experience and then ate at Bertucci's afterwards. We made friends with the waiter and Meg told him it was her birthday...and he brought her tiramisu with a candle in it (is everyone picking up on the irony of this one?). We laughed and pretended to eat it by putting it in a napkin in one of the to-go boxes. That was funny!

After lunch, I joined Quinn and Jim at Champs to watch Florida play Alabama in the SEC Championship. I was on pins and needles the whole time, it was a really intense game. But alas, the Gators pulled through and won, landing them a spot in the BCS National Championship Game!! Oh, the joy! We celebrated by going to Buzz and indulging in wonderful desserts (and joined by the lovely Jane).

Sunday was church, followed by Panini and Pie hosted by Mary's house. Wonderful food! I rounded out the evening with a round of SMS (Screw Monday Sunday) and Jim made us eggnog shakes. Heaven....

I could not have asked for a more perfect weekend...
