To fill you in on the happenings of my life:
1. My dear roommate, Taylor, left DC to go to California. 
We had a goodbye/ birthday party for her that was well attended, and the food was fabulous (I made the food!).

To wrap it up, Tay will be missed by all.
2. My mom was in town this past week. 
She finished school last week and I am pretty sure she caught the first plane out of Miami into DC. We spent the weekend in Williamsburg, enjoying the colonial life and shopping. Shopping is wonderful! My mom and I can sometimes get a little silly when we get around each other. 'Nough said.
3. And maybe the most important news of all, I was accepted in a graduate program and will begin my Masters on Tuesday! Whoo hoo for higher education!
